THE RED, WHITE & BLUE DINNER (Black Tie) at Canterbury Cathedral Lodge – Thursday 2 June 2022
The Trustees of The Friends of Canterbury Cathedral invite you to join them for this very special celebration on the day of the anniversary of Her Majesty The Queen’s Coronation in 1953.
Taking their inspiration from a Banquet held at Buckingham Palace on 4 June 1953, our chefs have prepared a modern, locally-sourced menu fit for a queen. This sumptuous four-course meal is accompanied by specially-chosen English wines. Following drinks on the Campanile Garden, a Platinum Jubilee Beacon will be lit before guests dine in the Clagett Auditorium with a programme of Royal Music, also inspired by the Coronation Banquet, from the Radnor Ensemble. Tickets are £75 for non-members (includes all wines accompanying the meal and drinks on arrival) and are available by contacting the The Friends’ Office.
